CM Dhami reviews 1905 helpline number, surprised everyone

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reviews CM Helpline number 1905 at Secretariat on Monday. During the review meeting, CM Dhami interacted with various complainants, listened to their grievances and took their feedback too. CM Dhami directed the officers to take the complaints received on CM Helpline 1905 with top priority. He also asked the officials to address public grievances to make CM Helpline 1905 more effective. He stressed that CM helpline objective to provide convenience to the public. The concerned department and officers should follow it up unless and until their grievances addressed.

He directed the officials to stop taking long term leave & stop avoiding technical problems. He asked them to quit the habit of keeping technical problems pending, work on quick solutions to problems. The only purpose of governance and administration is to satisfy the public. All the officers should regularly hold meetings regarding CM Helpline 1905 at every level. The accountability of governance and administration should be towards the people.

He said that everyone should work with a sense of service towards the complainants, and their problems should not be kept pending unnecessarily and solve them soon. CM Dhami directed all the district officers connected through virtual medium that even during tehsil days, complaints coming from CM Helpline 1905 should be updated on the portal immediately.

During the meeting, CM Dhami talked to the complainants of CM Helpline through phone, in which Udham Singh Nagar’s complainant Bhawana Phulara told that her ration card was not displayed online, due to which her Ayushman card was not being made. Her complaint has been resolved in just 5 days after complaining on CM Helpline. For this, complainant Bhawana Phulara expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister.

During the conversation with the Chief Minister Dhami, Nainital’s complainant Sarvesh Sharma said that there was no water in his house for several days. While laying a new pipeline, the old pipeline of his house got broken. No officer was willing to listen. But just a few days after complaining to the CM helpline, his complaint has been resolved. Complainant Sarvesh Sharma appreciated the CM helpline & thanked Chief Minister Dhami for working for public.

Another complainant Sukhjeevan Singh from Haridwar told that the construction of the road in his colony Vasant Vihar was done a few days ago. He had lodged a complaint on the CM helpline regarding substandard road construction work. After lodging the complaint, the road was reconstructed on Sunday. For this, he appreciated the CM Helpline and expressed gratitude towards the CM.

Hearing the complaint of complainant Vivek from Dehradun, CM Dhami directed the District Magistrate Dehradun for early resolution of the pending complaint. He also asked the district officials to take regular meetings regarding CM helpline.

It was informed in the meeting that as per the instructions of CM Dhami, arrangements have also been made to report the officers who do not work regularly on the CM Helpline portal. Along with this, the system of message alerts related to communication made by the officials with the complainants has also been started. Training is being imparted regarding communication skills training of calling executives. Also, the percentage of complaints filed satisfactorily has increased from 60% to 61% in the last one month.

Vice Chairman Infrastructure Monitoring Council Vishwas Dabar, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, DGP Abhinav Kumar, Secretary Shailesh Bagauli, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, District Magistrates, Superintendents of Police and other officers of various districts were also present through virtual medium.
