Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today distributed appointment letters to 31 distinguished players of the state. They have been selected on various posts under Sports Policy-2021, out of turn in Sports Department, Home Department, Youth Welfare and Forest Department and 25 juniors in Employment, Transport Department. Appointment letters were given to 28 Assistant Accountants in the Horticulture Department, at Mukhya Sevak Sadan.
CM Dhami expected all the selected candidates to discharge their responsibilities with sensitivity, responsibility and accountability. He said that the more honesty, dedication and hard work you do, the easier and simpler will be your path ahead.
While mentioning the Sports Policy 2021 CM Dhami said that under this, we have made efforts to win medals in international & national games. Today we are seeing the promise of providing out-of-turn government jobs to sportspersons coming to fruition. The CM said that all facilities will be provided to the sportspersons to participate in international & national games. Their government is consistently boosting the morale of the players by encouraging them & honouring them for their excellent performance.
CM Dhami said that like the Parks & Transport Department, the process of giving appointment letters to the youth under various departments is going on since the last few months. He said that we have resolved to provide employment to the hardworking youth of Devbhoomi with complete transparency in every situation.
He said that in just three months we have appointed about 5,000 youth as Nursing Officers, Forest Guards, Assistant Accountants. Employment has been provided by providing appointment letters to the posts of Deputy Jailer, Prison Guard, Village Development Officer etc. If we talk about two and a half years, this figure of providing employment is more than 20,000.
Talking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Dhami said that under his leadership, unprecedented employment opportunities are becoming available in the country. Such a big campaign to provide employment has never been launched in the history of our country. He said that the initiative we have taken to fill the posts will continue in future as well.
He said that under the leadership of the Prime Minister Modi ji, we have taken the initiative to provide employment to the youth in the government sector as well as to advance them in the field of self-employment.
CM Dhami said that we have launched Prayag Portal and Yuva Uttarakhand App., in which youth can register for employment as well as self-employment.
On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Shri Ganesh Joshi, Rekha Arya, Principal Secretary Shri RK Sudhanshu, DGP Abhinav Kumar, Secretary Transport Arvind Singh Hayanki, Director General Agriculture and Horticulture Dr Ranveer Singh Chauhan, ADG Amit Sinha, Additional Director Horticulture Dr RK Singh etc. were also present.
