Strange but true, SSC exam scam, which has grabbed the media attention because aspirants staged dharna outside the SSC head office. Bowing down under pressure of the aspirants government decided to conduct CBI enquiry on it. Following on it Haridwar DM Deepak Rawat made surprise inspection at a a coaching centre in Haridwar district. During raid he asked the coaching officials to provide the details of the candidates, who cracked the SSC exam.
Ironically the coaching claimed that 66 students have cracked the SSC exam. ironically all 66 aspirants belong to two assembly constituencies i.e. Bhagwanpur and Roorkee. Although during raid they could not provide the list of the candidate and tried to cover up the matter.
DM, who had gone along with police team, did not budge. Although coaching owner failed to provide detailed information the successful candidate so he sought details from Service Selection Commission (SSC). While scrutinising the list he found that most of the successful candidate belong to Bhagwanpur and Roorkee. although it is not clear that whether the link has established or not but has raised eyebrow.
Meanwhile police has been investigating the matter. Genius Education point coaching centre owner has been asked to give details of all the successful candidate other than SSC. It is being said that few students have cracked the exam of JE of Uttarakhand Power corporation Limited (UPCL).
