State to get Rs 41K from centre

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat inaugurated the Khirsu Sharadotsav 2018 organized by  Khirsu Sharadotsav and Vikas Samiti in Khirsu, Pauri on Monday.

In his address the Chief Minister said that 10 people have been caught red handed and 14 have been sent to jail after State Government had initiated the actions to curb the corruption and ensuring neutral enquiry in construction works in the State

Chief Minister apprised that the Government of India has released Rs. 12000 crores for all weather road and Rs. 16000 crores for construction of railway line. By which these construction works will be expedited. State Government will also get assistance of 13000 crore for border roads. In the next six months, air services will also be started in Almora, Pithoragarh, Pauri and Lansdowne. Apart from this, special train Maa Ganga Express from Delhi to Haridwar and Delhi to Ramnagar for Carbet National Park visit will also be started.

 Chief Minister Rawat said that doctors will be sent to all the hospitals in next two months to strengthen medical facilities in the state as  recruitment process is going on. He said that 26 hospitals of the state have also been connected with tele-radiology and telemedicine services which started from Pauri. Along with the recruitment of 9 hundred nurses, all centers will be equipped with health services.

He added that drinking water will be provided to the Khirsu area after completion of the second phase of Dhikwal village pumping drinking water scheme within the next 3-4 months. Cooperative bank in Chobatta will be opened for extending banking facilities. Suggestions will be sought from experts for developing Khirsu as a tourist city. He also said that the up-gradation of education through computer projector device developed by the Mumbai IIT shall be started from the Model Inter College Khirsu.
