Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami addressed a public meeting in support of BJP candidate Sandeep Sehrawat in the Matiala assembly constituency as part of the ongoing Delhi Assembly election campaign. The Chief Minister urged the people of Delhi to reject the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress, accusing them of corruption, appeasement, and opposition to Sanatan values.
Speaking at the event, CM Dhami said, “The nationalist people of Delhi have recognized the real face of the Aam Aadmi Party. Congress and AAP are partners in corruption and appeasement. I am confident that this election will see the people make BJP victorious by ensuring the defeat of these parties.”
Highlighting achievements in Uttarakhand, CM Dhami proudly shared that Uttarakhand is the first state in the country to implement the Uniform Civil Code under the BJP government. He also spoke about the ongoing construction of the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, noting, “The dream of building a grand Shri Ram Temple is being fulfilled under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.”
Targeting the Kejriwal government, CM Dhami criticized its claims of cleaning the Yamuna River. “Arvind Kejriwal has only made political promises about the cleanliness of the Yamuna. This time, the public has understood his lies,” he said.
CM Dhami praised the BJP’s double-engine governance model, citing Uttarakhand’s development under BJP leadership. In contrast, he accused AAP of exacerbating Delhi’s problems through corruption and appeasement politics.
He concluded by urging Delhi residents to support BJP candidate Sandeep Sehrawat for a brighter and more transparent governance model.
