Sec disobeys ACS order

Strange but true, an IAS officer, who has earned closeness to the chief minister office, has outrightly disobeyed his senior’s order.

Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) rank officer had called meeting and in which he asked his Personal Secretary (PS) to inform to all his subordinates including Secretary of the department concerned. Following on the order the PS passed the order to all the concerned officer but he was shocked with an answer of a secretary’s office.

PS was told to inform to the ACS that if he has one to one meeting then he would attend otherwise he would not join. Getting this information the PS got stunned and he spends lots to time to pass this information to their boss. Being a PS he passed the information but a question raised in his mind that will his boss (the ACS) would not get promotion to the rank of Chief secretary?

As per the schedule the ACS gets promotion in the rank of CS only. Although the babu has rejected the order of the ACS. It means the ACS would not get promoted otherwise the babu might have not dared to disobey his superior’s order. As per rule Chief Secretary writes annual character report (ACR) of all the secretaries including ACS, Principal Secretary etc.
