ICCC to be set up at ITDA shortly

Chief Secretary UK Singh convened meeting of the High Powered Steering Committee (HPSC) of Dehradun Smart city project  on Wednesday. The project management consultant,  Dehradun Smart City Limited gave a presentation on the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC). This centre is proposed to be set up at ITDA Bhawan at IT park. From this centre, the monitoring of traffic management, solid waste management, city surveillance, Wi-Fi, citizen centric services and emergency help desk for Dehradun city will be done. The total cosrt of DPR is Rs 234.85 crore. Giving it’s consent to the DPR, the Chief Secretary/ Head, HPSC instructed to incorporate the inputs of maintenance in it.

The DPR of three schools namely Government Girls Inter College, Rajpur Road, Government Inter College, Khurbura and Girls Junior High school, Khurbura which are to be included in the smart city project to be modernized at a cost of rs.5.58 crore were also presented. The Chief Secretary instructed the Additional Chief Executive Officer, Dehradun Smart City limited to make arrangements for visit and training of staff and teachers of these schools in some smart college. The IT component will be established in these schools along with civil and electrical works.

Chief Secretary also instructed to establish Gymnasium and multi- purpose halls in these schools and called for coordination between the principals and senior officials of the education department in this regard.

The Chief Secretary also asked the Additional Executive Officer of Dehradun Smart city Limited to give a presentation to Dehradun Mayor Mr. Sunil Uniyal Gama this month and provide him details about total ten wards out of which six are to be covered fully while four wards to be partially covered. Dehradun Mayor Mr Sunil Uniyal gama gave valuable suggestions during the meeting.

Dehradun mayor Sunil Uniyal gama, Secretary IT RK Sudhanshu, Secretary Peyjal Arvind Singh Hyanki, Director ITDA Amit Sinha, City Commissioner Vijay Jogdande, Add Secretary Power, Capt. AS Tewari, Additional Secretary Finance LN Pant and other officers were present in the meeting.
