GRD world school Bhauwala, where class Xth student was gang raped by their four seniors, had taken affiliation from CBSE on the name of other school. It means it was being run without procuring No objection certificate (NoC) from the department concerned.
During investigation it has revealed that they did not apply for affiliation on similar name. CBSE regional office has sent their recommendation to their head office and asked to take punitive action against the school. Meanwhile Chief Education Officer, Dehradun has already recommended the state government to cancel their recognition.
With this revelation one thing is clear that the school had applied for affiliation on forged document. As the management is running its school in several places which is why they might have submitted information about other school while seeking affiliation. Although it has also raised question mark on the procedure for CBSE affiliation? Does it mean CBSE gives recognition without making physical verification?
If we believe on source, then CBSE may cancel their recommendation today. Although management officials could not be contacted over phone. Although it has raised question mark over the future of hundred of students, who have enrolled in the school for bright future.
