The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) on Monday declared the results for Classes 10 and 12, with girls once again outshining boys.Class 10 results recorded a pass percentage of 98.5 per cent, while 96.21 per cent of the students passed Class 12 exam, said Gerry Arathoon, CEO of the Council.
Tamanna Dahiya of class XII in Welham Girls school scored 99.25 per cent to top the state. She is reported to have secured the second position at all-India level. Shivansh Ghalot from Brightlands School class XII scored 98.5 per cent, achieving maximum marks in science. The position was shared by Abhinav Jakhmola who also scored 98.5 per cent marks. Scoring 98.25 per cent Devanshi Negi became the third topper from the school. Radhika Maheshwari with 97 per cent became the topper of commerce stream.
Mumbai’s Swayam Das was the Class 10 all-India topper with a score 99.4 per cent. Jalandhar’s Jasmine Chahal, a student of St Joseph’s Convent, tied for second place at 99.2 per cent with Mumbai’s Anokhi Amit Mehta from Jamnabai Narsee School.
