Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat fondly remembered Late Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna on his anniversary, today. In his message issued on the eve of Bahuguna’s anniversary Chief Minister, Rawat said that Bahuguna was an extraordinary personality known in the country and abroad as a good administrator, orator and a famous politician.
He was leader who was associated with his roots and did not discriminate with anyone and was not political narrow minded. His famous slogan was ‘Himalaya Toot Sakhta Hai Kintoo Jhuk Nahi Sakta’ (The Himalayas can break but cannot bend) . CM said that he had a dream and philosophy of developing the hills. He loved his culture and traditions and made a mark on country’s politics with his exceptional talent. He took many steps for the good of the state and as a central minister started many developmental schemes. He was ever willing to go an extra mile for the development of the hill states.
