A girl murdered by her mother

A 21-year-old girl was allegedly murdered by her stepmother. this incident has ascertained that step mother can’t be real mother. if we believe over police then she had hatched a plan to chopped her body into tiny pieces then she wanted to flushed it into sewage tank through commode.

The incident took place in the Ansari Marg area. The body of the victim, Prapti Singh, daughter of late Ajit Singh, which was chopped into pieces allegedly by her stepmother Meenu Kaur, was recovered from the house by the police.

As per police, Meenu had gone to the police saying that her daughter Prapti had gone missing. She told the police that Prapti had left for inter-state bus terminus to go to Delhi for an interview as she aspired to become an air hostess and since then had been missing.

The police got suspicious and tried to track the last mobile location of Prapti, which was found in her house. During interrogation, Meenu broke down and confessed to have killed Prapti and after chopping the body into pieces, had hidden it in the house.

The police investigation revealed that Meenu was not happy with Prapti as Meenu’s husband Ajit Singh, who had passed away a few years ago, had left all his properties in Prapti’s name, which infuriated her. As per modus operandi, Meenu first hit Prapti on the head that killed her and subsequently chopped her body with a knife and hid it in her house.

Neighbourers, who knew the family for long alleged that the mother-daughter duo was not on good terms which grew further sour after Ajit Singh’s death. The police took the body in their possession for further examination and took Meenu into custody.
