Students have developed car running on solar

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has appreciated the car running on solar and electricity designed by the DIT university students i.e. Vartik Srivastava and Aarif Afridi. Later CM Rawat appreciated them and assured all possible support to them

They met the CM at his residence on Monday and gave a demonstration of the car developed by them. They also briefed about the research work of the university in the field of renewable energy.

Appreciating on the presentation of the students the CM said that the State Government is promoting innovative efforts of the students of Uttarakhand. He called upon the students to undertake research and work on new ideas.

Their government is providing impetus to entrepreneurs under its start-up policy and emphasis on ‘Start up India- stand up India’ is being done to promote entrepreneurs at grass root level, he explained. Rawat said that in today’s world the importance of innovations is increasing and by inculcating new technical experiments and business ideas big changes in the life of people can be brought about.
