Governor Dr KK Paul said today that educational tours developed a feeling of unity among school children and they get to know about the features of other parts of the country.
They meet people and interact with other school children. He was addressing school children from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bengaluru who came to meet him at Raj Bhawan.
Dr Paul said that there was unity in diversity in our country and this was due to the richness of our culture and cultural values which children must make a part of their lives. It was the government’s effort that no section of our society is left out in the path to progress and every one should get equal opportunities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken many initiatives for the development of the country. Of these, Swachh Bharat mission was one in which children can participate actively. He spoke to the children and asked them about their experiences during the tour, their studies and plans for the future, wishing the all the best for a bright future.
