Speaker reviewed security preperation ahead of session

To review the security preparedness for upcoming Vidhan Sabha session slated  to begin on May 1, the Speaker Premchand Aggrawl convened a meeting with the officials of the administration, police, health, municipal corporation, power, water supply and information in the Assembly premises  on Friday.
He instructed the nodal officer of the estate department to ensure uninterrupted supply of  power and water and sanitation in and around the Vidhan Sabha premises during  the session. He  also instructed the health department to replace the Vidhan Sabha ambulance with a new one.
During the meeting, it has been decided that passes issued by the Vidhan Sabha secretariat and the secretariat administration (SAD) to emergency service employees and the non- government employees would not be valid for the entry into the Assembly premises during the session.
It has also been decided that the vehicles of the Speaker, chief minister, the leader of Opposition, ministers and MLAs would be parked inside the premises while those of the  senior officers would have to be parked outside the premises. The meeting stressed on the police administration making all arrangements for a faultless  public address system so as to ensure that  the drivers are summoned  whenever required.
Vidhan Sabha employees coming by their vehicles would have their vehicles parked at the designated places alone, the meeting decided. The visitors must bring the identity cards of their parent organization along with the entry passes.
