Ex MLA Kandari left BJP and joins Cong

Senior BJP leader Matbar Singh Kandari, who failed to prove his candidature before party high command, has joined congress in the presence of chief minister Harish Rawat and state PCC president Kishore Upadhyay here in Dehradun on Saturday.

He along with his son Rajiv Kandari has left the BJP and joined the congress. In his reaction Kandari said that BJP tried to destablish democratically elected congress led state government on March 18, 2016 and he condemned the bid.

He reiterated that Harish Rawat can give stable government and bring development in the state. He alleged that BJP believes in dream which is why they sell dream only while Rawat believes in reality and talks about ground reality.
