State labour minister Dr Harak Singh Rawat has categorically said that state government is advocate of labour and it is our duty to become patron of labour. For this there is a need to visit hotel, school and hospital on regular interval and fact finding report should be sent to head office. He also asked the officials to make their presence on ground. He has asked them to complete the registration of labourer by March 31 and double the registration. You provide offline registration system if the district does not have online registration facility. For labour registration he has asked them to write a letter to district magistrate so that they can empower community health centre for registration system. He asked them to implement this with full accountability.
For the interest of labour, he has asked them to implement Prime Minister Sramik Mandhan yojna by February 15. This is solely for unorganised sector. Under which labourer having age group of 18-40 would get Rs 15000 per annum as pension. For this they will have to make voluntary disclosure of their income certificate. For this LIC has been made entitle to do registration and disburse the pension to the recipient. they can submit their application in community health centre.
On this occasion Secretary Harbans Singh Chugh, Additional Secretary Labour Ramesh Rawat, Labour Commission Anand Srivastava, Deputy labour commissioner Ashok Vajpayee, Assistant labour commissioner Umesh Rai and Secretary Artisan Board Damyanti Rawat were present.
