Met dept issues red alert

The Uttarakhand State Meteorological Department has issued a red alert and forecasted heavy to very heavy rainfall at few places of the state on February 7. Hailstorm is also likely to lash isolated places in the plains of the state during the next 24 hours.

The state’s weather is going to be generally cloudy on the day and probably light to moderate rain and snowfall at many places across the state.

In Dehradun too, the weather would be cloudy. One or two spells of rain and thundershowers are likely to lash the city. Dehradun’s temperatures would be around 18 degree Celsius and 10 degree Celsius respectively.
