Delhi farm youth club organises cultural evening on bhai dooj

To celebrate bhai dooj, a festival of brother and sister, Delhi farm youth club organized a cultural evening here in Dehradun today. In which youth presented theme based programme and by presenting their scintillating performance they enthralled the audience. The programme was inaugurated by Pt LN Bahuguna and SS Bisht by lighting an inaugural lamp amidst chanting of vedic hymns.

During cultural programme they  presented Saraswati Vandana, parody of Ramayana, Bal ganesh, Garhwali dance, Bollywood dance, Garhwali comedy, Bollywood mix, Swachh Bharat skit, Garhwali dance, humorous poem and small comedy skit too.

Talking to the dainiknation.com youth club President Deepak Kumar Sharma said that its objective was to provide platform to the people especially youth and it will enhance their confidence and now onward they would not be shy whenever they would face mike and audience in future. He also expressed hope that the way people have enjoyed the programme would add more families next year.

The cultural program began with the recital of Saraswati Vandana by the young artists Mihika Gupta, Saadgi Sajwan, Khushi Dhiman and Indu Rawat. A comedy show was presented by Shiv Singh Bisht and Vivek Dhyani on the theme. The drama with dance presented by Anshuman Bahuguna and Ayush Rawat depicted the nine expressions of life: love, laughter, compassion, anger, courage, fear, disgust, surprise and peace. The stage was rocked by a Garhwali dance performed by Saadgi Sajwan, Indu Rawat and Khushi Dhiman. A skit presented by Vivek Dhyani, Aditya Prakash, Eklavya Sajwan, Ayush Rawat, Rayan Hatwal and Khushi.

The ‘ kaun bhayeel karodpati’ presented by Anshuman Bahuguna, Riya Hatwal and Vivek Dhyani. Balganesh presented by Om Bhadola, Abhinav Bahuguna, Mihika Gupta and Vidhika Gupta.

To motivate the budding artists consolation prizes were distributed among them by Pt Bahuguna and Shiv Singh Bisht on behalf of the youth club.  Later they also distributed mementos  among the participating families, who contributed money and time to make this function possible.

In which they also presented a skit to spread the message of hygiene and sanitation. They apprised them about how they are polluting the environment by throwing garbage  and by burning garbage at open space. They also highlighted that how they can make their society better than now by making small contribution to the society.
