Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday released the 2025 calendar and an informational booklet by the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan at his official residence. The booklet, available in seven languages, provides detailed information about the Chardham Yatra, aiming to inspire devotees across the country to undertake the pilgrimage.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister emphasized that the calendar, themed around the four sacred Dhams, will promote the significance of the journey and attract more pilgrims. He also highlighted the booklet’s potential to support winter tourism in Uttarakhand, describing it as a key initiative to strengthen the state’s economy.
“The calendar and booklet will not only encourage Chardham Yatra but also promote winter travel by highlighting the winter stay sites of the pilgrimage,” Dhami said. He assured that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the comfort and convenience of travelers at these locations.
BKTC Chief Executive Officer Vijay Prasad Thapliyal and other senior officials attended the ceremony, underscoring the state’s commitment to enhancing pilgrim experiences while boosting tourism year-round.
