Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has lambasted against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and said that widespread corruption and mismanagement looming large in Delhi. CM Dhami said this while addressing a rally, which was organized in support of BJP candidate Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, who is contesting from the South Delhi Lok sabha constituency in ongoing general election 2024.
In his impassioned address, CM Dhami rallied the crowd, asserting that with their unwavering support, Bidhuri would secure victory in the upcoming elections, contributing to PM Modi’s anticipated third term in office. He lauded the historical significance of South Delhi and emphasized the BJP’s enduring connection with the area.
Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government, Dhami enumerated landmark decisions such as the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), revocation of Article 370 in Kashmir, and the abolition of triple talaq. He also hailed the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and various welfare schemes benefiting millions of Indians.
However, the cm reserved his strongest condemnation for the AAP, accusing them of surpassing Congress in corruption and plunging Delhi into chaos. He alleged that AAP ministers were embroiled in corruption scandals and accused opposition leaders of colluding with anti-national forces to undermine the Prime Minister.
Asserting that the opposition’s alliance was driven by self-interest and corruption, CM Dhami called upon the people to deliver a resounding mandate in favor of the BJP. He urged voters in South Delhi to support Bidhuri and ensure the BJP’s victory, emphasizing that there was no competition for the party in Delhi.
The rally was attended by BJP candidate Ramveer Singh Bidhuri, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and other party leaders, signaling the party’s strong commitment to securing electoral success in the region.
