CM enquires about PM Housing scheme

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Monday reviewed the progress of development work of District Plan, State Sector and Centrally sponsored schemes with District Level Officers in Vikas Bhawan Auditorium, Pauri.

CM instructed them to expedite the development work and also make sure quality should not be compromised. Work should be completed in the stipulated time frame. He asked them to utilise the allocated fund in speedy manner. You should also make sure that the public should get maximum benefit of the developmental schemes implemented by the government. Chief Minister inquired about the progress of the work of all departments. He gave strict instructions to the officials that any kind of negligence would not be tolerated in the work.

Chief Minister instructed the District Magistrate and CMO to set up the camp. He instructed to increase the telemedicine further in the district and said that first priority should be given to remote areas. During the review of the tourism department, it was informed by the tourism official that 70 thousand tourists have arrived in Pauri Khirsu so far, whereas six lakh tourists have arrived in the district. Chief Minister said that operators should continuously coordinate  with tourists, Home Stay for better operation.

During the meeting, Chief Minister also took information about the Prime Minister housing scheme. During the review of the Jal Sansthan, it was informed by the concerned officer that 556 of the total 558 schemes in the district are working smoothly. He said that quality of food items should be inspected continuously. He gave necessary guidelines to the officials concerned regarding cleanliness. He directed the District Magistrate to keep strict vigil on the ban on polyethylene. District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Gabrial informed the progress report of sector wise development works of the district.

On this occasion, Higher Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat, Pauri MLA Mukesh Koli, Lansdown MLA Dilip Singh Rawat, Nagar Palika President Yashpal Benam, District Magistrate Dhiraj Singh Gabrial, SSP Dalip Singh Kunwar, Chief Development Officer Ved Prakash, DFO Lakshman Singh Rawat, District Finance and Statistical Officer Nirmal Shah, APD Sunil Kumar and officials from other departments were present.
