Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat inquired about the health of a student from Pauri, who was burnt by agitated student, admitted in AIIMS, Rishikesh on Tuesday.
He also took information about her health from the doctors treating the victim. Chief Minister said that for better treatment, the victim will be sent to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi through air ambulance. In Safdarjung Hospital, necessary arrangements have been ensured for the treatment of the victim. Chief Minister said that the expenditure on the treatment of the victim will be borne by the state government.
Chief Minister said that the person who has set the student ablaze with petrol has been arrested by the police and action as per law is being taken against him. Describing the incident as tragic, he wished the victim a speedy recovery. Along with Chief Minister, the Cabinet Minister Prakash pant also inquired about the victim’s health.
