State to conduct resurvey of anti-encroachment drive

Uttarakhand Government Additional Secretary Om Prakash has said that the government will be conducting another anti-encroachment survey from Monday onwards. This survey was being conducted as there were complaints that many people have started removing the marked buildings and premises marked during the encroachment drive. Action as per the law will be taken against such people added the Additional Secretary.

Massive Anti Encroachment drive conducted in Prem Nagar on 14th September

On the Chakrata-Paonta highway, an illegal market in Premnagar near IMA had cropped up. From this there was a situation of jam from morning to evening in the market. Encroachments were marked on June 27 on the order of the High Court. Here the house and the shops were found encroached for five to 12 meters. Action started on Friday at six in the morning, which continued till 8:30 PM. The anti encroachment drive is being conducted as per orders of the Uttarakhand High Court.
