A huge public rally paid tribute to Rakesh Chandra Raturi martyred in the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The family and close ones paid their homage to the braveheart soldier who lost his life while protecting the nation.
The terrorists had attacked three days in Sunjwan in Jammu and Kashmir. During this, Havaldar Rakesh Raturi (44) seriously injured while engaged in an ambush with the terrorists. After which, he was taken to Army Hospital for treatment, where he breathed his last. The young Rakesh Rathodari was originally from the village of Sankar Sain, located at Pabo block of Pauri Garhwal. A year ago, he had built a house in Premnagar’s Badowala.
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Haridwar MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Minister of Higher Education Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi, Cantt MLA Vinod Chamoli, Sahaspur MLA Sahdev Pundir, Congress State President Pritam Singh, Vice President Suryakant Dhasmana, and other politicians and administrative officials paid homage to the martyr. After this the body was taken for cremation in Haridwar.
