MBBS student in Srinagar medical college commits suicide

Last night, Shivani Bansal daughter Harish Bansal, a student of MBBS 2013 batch, committed suicide in her room of senior girls hostel in Srinagar Medical College, hanging from a scarf on the fan. The deceased hailed from  Jaspur in Udhamsinghnagar.

Srinagar Kotwal Narendra Bisht told that at around 12 midnight last night, a student was not receiving a phone call in the hostel and was also not responding to the knocking on the door.

Police reached the spot and broke the door of the room. They found Shivani’s body hanging in the room. The police took the dead body. Police have also got a suicide note placed on the table in her room, in which she has written to her mother, father, and sister that she is going to end her life. If possible forgive her. According to the information found, failure in examination was the reason behind the suicide.
