In a dispute after a minor collision of two cars on the road, the transporter of Doon was murdered the driver of the other car, by jamming a screwdriver in the chest of the young man who was a resident of Pithoragarh. The police has taken the accused transporter into custody.
Inspector Patel Nagar Ritesh Sah said that Bhupesh (25) son of Kumaur resident of Pithoragarh, Kamlesh Singh Mahar was employed in a call center in Transport nagar, Doon Business Park about one month ago. He lived in a rented premises on Turner Road in Dehradun. On Saturday late night, Bhupesh was returning from his car from Rajpur Road with his friend Brijesh Singh resident Kumoroli, Thal and Sunil resident Kumaur. Bhupesh’s car collided with a car from of the transporter Sumit Rathore, who was coming to ISBT at Mandi Thirah.
According to the police, after the collision, the two sides got in heated argument. It is being told that Sumit was alone. When Bhupesh and his companion got heavily on Sumit, he took out a screwdriver from the car and struck the chest of Bhupesh in his heart. On this Bhupesh fell unconscious on the ground. Bhupesh breathed his last at Mahant Indiresh Hospital during treatment. Sumit was taken into custody by the police while leaving the car on the spot. Inspector Sah said the postmortem of the deceased has been taken. The father of the deceased has registered a murder case against the accused.
