Twenty days have passed in January but winter rain has not reported in the state. Even forest fire has reported in higher reaches of the state. Even weather is dry which is why temperature is increasing too. As we know that due to winter rain river gets consistent flow of water. If winter rain not happens then water scarcity loom large during upcoming summer season.
As per the meteorological department even hills stations like Mussoorie and Nainital have been witnessing rise in minimum temperature. Although weather deaprtmetn has informed that there is possibility of rain in coming days in the state.
Although experts say that this is happening due to climate change. As we know that more than 30000 trees have chopped for all weather road. This has made severe impact on weather. Although expert also says that due to climate change for the last few years snow getting reported in February.
