Chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat asked the power department officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply in the state while conducting a review meeting with the state power department officials, including those dealing with alternate energy, in the secretariat on Friday. He asked the alternate energy department officials to fetch revenue to the tune of Rs 200 crore in this financial year The officials were instructed to adopt MIST while generating power. CM made it clear that there should be no power outages unless the people are informed beforehand by an order from the executive engineers.

120 MW vyasi power project would start by December 2018 and Uttarakashi’s pilgaang 2.25 MW project would complete by December this year. Chamoli’s urgan 3 MW and Pauri’s Dunaav 1.5 MW would start production by the last week of august this year. Dunaav projects is under testing procedure.
