Met dept forecast rain in UK

Uttarakhand Meteorological centre has forecast light rain/snow at isolated places, especially in the higher reaches of Uttarakhand on Sunday. Light rainfall/snow has been reported from the higher mountainous reaches like Kedarnath and Uttarkashi over the past 24 hours, said Meteorological centre director Bikram Singh.

Met department further said that the maximum temperatures were below the normal to normal in the plains and normal in the hills of Uttarakhand while the minimum temperatures were appreciably below the normal both in the plains and the hills. The highest maximum temperature 28.1 °C was recorded at Pantnagar while lowest minimum temperature 1.2 °C was recorded at Munsiyari.
