DAINIK NATION BUREAU/ CHAMOLI: Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has appealed voters to support BJP candidates, including Sushma Dimri for the Municipal President post and others contesting councilor positions. He assured the public that with the BJP in power, the area would witness unprecedented development, benefiting citizens across both urban and rural regions. CM addressed public rally in Jyotirmath in Chamoli district on Wednesday.
Highlighting the concept of a “triple engine government,” CM Dhami stated that if BJP candidates are elected, development in municipal areas will accelerate threefold. “Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Uttarakhand is touching new heights of progress. Massive development work is in progress in Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham, with thousands of crores invested. Besides it, essential services like health, education, infrastructure, electricity, and water are being significantly improved in both cities and villages. CM also appealed to the public to strengthen BJP’s development agenda by voting in favor of its candidates on January 23.
Criticizing the Congress, CM Dhami accused the party of indulging in corruption and opposing progress. “While BJP focuses on development and good governance, Congress has always promoted corruption and attempted to defame Sanatan Dharma. They practice politics of opposition and support those who tarnish our cultural heritage,” he said. Dhami warned voters that a Congress win would only result in excuses and delays in development, whereas BJP ensures dedicated efforts toward the state’s growth.
The Chief Minister concluded by reiterating BJP’s commitment to development and urged the public to contribute to the region’s prosperity by electing BJP candidates.
