CM Dhami appoints Secretary level officers as Secretary incharge of Char Dham districts

In a bid to ensure the smooth, safe, and well-organized conduct of the Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed the deployment of three secretary-level officers in the districts encompassing the Chardham area.

CM Dhami on Sunday gave instructions for the appointment of three officers after a long and detailed discussion with Chief Secretary Radha Raturi regarding the Char Dham Yatra. As per the instructions of CM Dhami, the government has given the responsibility of monitoring travel arrangements to Secretary Dr. R Rajesh Kumar in Rudraprayag district, SN Pandey in Chamoli district and Dr. Ranjit Kumar Sinha in Uttarkashi district.

These three officers will work towards ensuring smooth, safe and well-organized Char Dham Yatra at the government level after taking feedback from the District Magistrates of the respective districts. Despite his busy schedule, CM Dhami is directly monitoring the Chardham Yatra. CM Dhami has given clear instructions in the recent meeting regarding there not being any kind of arrangement in the travel operator. CM Dhami has reiterated that easy, safe, accessible and well-organized Chardham Yatra in the state is the priority of the government. The state government is trying to ensure that the pilgrims coming on Chardham Yatra do not face any kind of problem.
