BJP National President JP Nadda reiterated that it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who implemented One Rank One Pension schemes for ex-servicemen in Pithoragarh. He also expressed his gratitude for being in Devbhoomi while addressing a political rally in Pithoragarh for seeking vote for Ajay Tamta. He also referred to the current decade as Uttarakhand’s decade of development, noting the visible progress and a new wave of development flowing from the state.
Nadda reiterated that BJP government’s dedication to Uttarakhand’s growth, fulfilling youth aspirations, empowering women, and integrating the state into the mainstream, with the opposition’s betrayal and decades of scams. He named various scams like the Coal Scam, Bofors Scam, Submarine Scam, AgustaWestland Scam, 2G, 3G Scam, and Commonwealth Games Scam, accusing Congress of corruption across various sectors.
Highlighting the state’s role in BJP’s electoral victories in 2014 and 2019, Nadda linked Uttarakhand’s support to India’s economic growth, making it the fifth largest economy even amidst the challenges of the pandemic and international conflicts. He stated that electing BJP candidates, like Shri Ajay Tamta, from all five seats again would lead India to become the third-largest economy by 2028. Nadda also noted India’s significant progress in electronic goods manufacturing, with 97 percent of mobile phones now being made in India, showcasing the success of the Make in India initiative.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed JP Nadda to Pithoragarh on behalf of the people of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. He praised Nadda’s leadership, mentioning how the BJP has expanded its presence from Attock to Cuttack and from Kashmir to Kanyakumari under his guidance. Dhami emphasized that Indian politics is incomplete without the BJP, and credited Shri Nadda’s humble demeanor and inspiring personality for motivating all party workers.
Dhami highlighted that the bugle for the Lok Sabha elections has been sounded, indicating the beginning of an important electoral process.
