Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami embraced the spirit of the Hindu New Year Festival held in New Delhi, surrounded by esteemed personalities and scholars. Expressing gratitude for the collective wisdom and energy present, he acknowledged the guidance of every saint and guardian of Sanatan culture, urging their continued support.
In his address, he extended well wishes to all Lok Sabha candidates of the Delhi BJP, hoping for resounding victories. As the gathering collectively recited the Hanuman Chalisa, Chief Minister Dhami emphasized the significance of the Hindu New Year, commemorating the creation of the universe by Lord Brahma according to the Brahma Purana.
Reflecting on the precision of astronomical calculations that determine auspicious events, he lamented the past indifference towards Indian New Year celebrations but praised the current promotion of Sanatan culture under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Recounting Modi’s endeavors in uplifting Indian heritage, including the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya and the redevelopment of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham, Chief Minister Dhami highlighted the global impact of initiatives like the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and Mahakal Lok in Ujjain.
Under Modi’s guidance, he emphasized India’s economic strides and decisive policy actions, from implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act to abolishing Article 370 and tackling triple talaq. Asserting the BJP’s commitment to Sanatan values, he contrasted it with the Congress’s focus on “Muslim Personal Law” in its manifesto.
Amid ongoing elections, Chief Minister Dhami urged voters to discern the true intentions of parties, warning against deceptive tactics. Confident of BJP’s victory in Uttarakhand and Delhi, he rallied support to ensure Modi’s return as Prime Minister.
