Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that it is our endeavour to make the movement of people within the entire state convenient, simple and easy. We are continuously trying to ensure that the people of India can easily come to different places of Uttarakhand, for which we are continuously working.
Referring to air services, CM Dhami said that before this, along with air connectivity from Dehradun to Pithoragarh and Pithoragarh to Dehradun, we have also started heli-services from Haldwani to Champawat, Munsiyari and Pithoragarh. Referring to the flights starting today, he said that today is a very auspicious day, under which air services have been started for Dehradun-Ayodhya, Dehradun-Amritsar, Dehradun-Pantnagar-Varanasi. This is an important step which will connect Dehradun will 3 different cities of religious & cultural importance of Uttar Pradesh. It will also help boost tourism as people from all 3 cities will be able to visit different tourist destinations of Uttarakhand through air-connectivity, which will save their time & make travel easier.
CM Dhami thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia for approving these 3 air-services. Referring to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, he said that under his leadership and period, there has been unprecedented progress in every sector including the air services sector.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met and talked to the passengers traveling to places like Ayodhya etc. through these air services amidst the chanting of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and wished them a happy Mangal Yatra.
On this occasion, Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Secretary Sachin Kurbe, Additional Secretary C Ravi Shankar, Additional Chief Executive Officer UCADA Dayanand Saraswati, Harish Kothari and related officers and officials were present.
