Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami today, in an appointment letter distribution ceremony organized by the Forest Department at Himalayan Cultural Centre, Garhi Cantt, handed out appointment letters to 892 forest constables & 104 assistant accountants selected through the Public Service Commission.
Among the 104 assistant accountants who were appointed, 59 were Forest & 45 were from Technical Education departments. From April 2017 till now, appointments have been made on various 4,406 Group C posts under the Forest Department, which includes 2,528 appointments since July 2021.
The Chief Minister said that it is our endeavor to quickly fill the vacant posts under various departments. The promising youth of the state should be provided opportunities. Our priority is to provide maximum employment opportunities to the youth of the state.
He said that by removing the complaints of ‘rigging’ in the recruitment processes done in the previous governments, we have made comprehensive changes in the recruitment processes. In future, we will provide more employment opportunities to more and more youth in the state itself.
CM Dhami said that investments worth ₹3.50 lakh crore have been received in the recently organized Global Investors Summit. Investors from more than 50 countries are also involved in this. This will promote industries in the state and will provide more employment opportunities to the youth.
On this occasion, Forest & Technical Education Minister Shri Subodh Uniyal, Principal Secretary RK Sudhanshu, Forest Chief (Half) Anoop Malik, Secretary Technical Education Ravinath Raman & concerned officers and youth who received appointment letters were present.
