Harish Rawat quits as INC General Secretary Assam

After Rahul Gandhi’s resignation from Congress President, another big party leader has resigned from his post. Incharge of Assam and former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Harish Rawat has resigned as the General Secretary of the Congress. Harish Rawat said that, “I am resigning while taking responsibility for the defeat in Assam.”

Rawat has written on his Facebook page that the office bearer responsible for the defeat of the Congress party and organizational weakness in the Lok Sabha elections.
