Passengers will now have to pay to get their bags scanned at IGI

At Indira Gandhi International Airport you will now have to loosen your pocket for scanning of bags. According to the information received, Indira Gandhi Airport will recover 880 rupees on plane of more than 200 seats at the International Airport. The load of which is now coming on the passengers. For this recovery, charge will be charged for the flight seats. It is being told that the passengers will be charged up to Rs 50.
The reason for charging separately is that the CISF has the responsibility to scanning the bag of passengers. Whereas its expenditure comes in part of airport operators. That is why the airport is now going to collect this expense from the passengers.

In its slab, provision of Rs. 25 for 110 seats, Rs 50 for 220 seats, Rs. 495 for 100 seats and Rs. 770 for 200 seater aircrafts has been made. All this amount will be recovered from the airlines. Due to this, the burden on the passenger is going to increase between Rs. 5 to 50.
