CM listens Man ki baat at Lachhiwala

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat said that to provide the benefit of government welfare schemes, the government officials and employees will have to go to the public and not the people come to the government. Chief Minister instructed the officials to go to the remote areas and set up the camp and make the golden card of the Atal Ayushman Yojana. Instructions were issued to Chief Development Officer, SDM, VDO to systematically make the Golden Card of all the people. He gave strict instructions to the officers to work with full transparency.

Chief Minister said that through the use of technology and networking, the benefits of the schemes must reach to the people residing in the remote areas. The CIPET started in Doiwala will be a boon for the region. About four thousand students will be pass out from here every year. The land has also been allocated for the Tehsil in the Doiwala area. Regional Center of NIRD will be opened soon in Doiwala. Foundation stone of a 300-bed maternity hospital will be laid in Doiwala in January. Thano Hospital is being handed over to AIIMS Rishikesh. Here the doctors of AIIMS Rishikesh will provide their services. Work is being done to open the Coast Guard recruitment center in Doiwala area. Work on special projects is on for the beautification of Doiwala. Work will be done for beautification on both sides of Madhuri Canal and development of nearby parks. Soon, work on beautification of Doiwala’s market area has to be started.

He listened the problems of the local people during ‘Janta Darbar’ organized at Lachhiwala, Doiwala on Sunday. He congratulated the newly appointed President of State Minorities Commission Dr. R K Jain, who announced free of cost of consultancy services in CMI Hospital and 20 per cent conecession on medicines and whole treatment to people of Doiwala region. Extending New Year greetings, Chief Minister said that all the developmental works will be completed in the area. All the complaints received in the Janta Darbar will be resolved as soon as possible. In the state, on 25th December, on the birth anniversary of Atal Ji, Atal Uttarakhand Ayushman Yojana has been started. Uttarakhand is the first state in the country, which has shown the courage to give all the citizens of the state and every family the benefit of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. The benefits of this Yojana will be for all the 23 lakh families of the state. This is not for any particular category but for everyone.

Taking serious note of the progress of the construction of local bridges by the Public Works Department during the Janta Darbar, Chief Minister asked the officers about the progress of construction works of Chandipur bridge, Jhabarwala, Khairiwala and Bullawala bridge. Officials informed that the work is progressing fast. He also reviewed the work of Lachhiwala bridge. Chief Minister has given strict directions to the Social Welfare Officer for early settlement of matters related to the social pension of the area. Instructions were issued to the Chief Development Officer and Nagar Palika President to settle the complaints of non-payment of toilets in Doiwala city area. Chief Minister issued instructions to the police department for quick police investigation regarding the Divyang child of the area Ankit Yadav, who was missing for the last six days. On the problem of appointment of physicians in Dharkot veterinary clinic, Chief Minister said that the physicians will be appointed soon. Chief Minister asked the officers to set up Reservation Centers in the area and to get the blind turn repaired soon. Tubewell was approved to resolve water problem in Dussehra ground.

During the programme, the Doiwala Bar Association, Jollygrant Airport Taxi Union and Doiwala Sugarcane Committee expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for the complete payment of the sugarcane farmers. Ex-servicemen Organisation gave a memorandum regarding their problems to the Chief Minister. On this occasion, Chief Minister participated in the “Mann Ki Baat” programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Lachhiwala Guest House in Doiwala on Sunday.
