UK Cabinet clears 27 out of 29 issues

The Uttarakhand cabinet met for the first time since the recently concluded local body elections. The BJP led state government headed by CM Trivendra Rawat cleared 27 out of the 29 issues present before it. Due to the impositions by the ECI for the elections, many decisions had to be kept in the pipleline which were cleared today.

Cabinet Winter session from Dec 4- 6

The winter session of the assembly will be held from December 4. A supplementary budget for the current fiscal year 2018-19 will be presented during the session. Governor Baby Rani Maurya released the notification for the third session of the assembly this year. The session is expected to run for two days- four and five December.

Assembly Secretary Jagdish Chandra said that the supplementary budget will be presented mainly in the session. On the other hand, the government has started preparations for the supplementary budget. The finance department has issued an order to all the committees and has sought the proposal for supplementary budget demand.

According to highly placed sources, the supplementary budget could be from 1.5 to 2.5 billion rupees. Finance Minister Prakash Pant also reviewed the preparation of the departments on the supplementary budget.
