Governor Baby Rani Maurya and Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat have extended their wishes and greetings to the people of the state on the festival of ‘Dhanteras’.

In her message she has wished for the good health and prosperity for the people of the state. We all must ensure that there should be no harm to anyone on the occasion of Deepawali and celebrate the festival with social harmony. Let us all take a pledge to celebrate Deepawali in a clean and pollution free manner

In his message on the eve of the festival, Chief Minister  Trivendra Singh Rawat said that there is special significance of ‘Puja’ on ‘Dhanteras’ before the festival of ‘Diwali’.  The ‘Dhanteras’ is considered auspicious for starting any new work. Chief Minister prayed for the health, peace, well- being and prosperity of the people of the state.
