Three days long Chhath puja concludes today. Since early morning devotees had started reaching to nearby river bank. As sun rises then devotees welcomed them by shouting slogan as if they were desperate to see it. They offered water to rising sun while devotees were holding home made prasad along with seasonal fruits, which were decorated in bamboo made utensil and basket.
People, who had come along with their mother and sister or grand mother, were seen shouting slogan in favour of Chhath maa. They were also burning crackers as part of celebration. With this three days long festival concludes and devotees took sigh of relief with a hope that chhath maa will fulfill their wish.
Talking to dainiknation.com a devotee said that as this festival has great respect among mass and having strict rituals as per belief. There is belief that if you do this with great respect then you will get its reward and fails to follow strictly then you will get immediate punishment.
As per the belief people use to facilitate the devotees because there is perception that by helping the devotees you can please the god too.
