Cabinet ministers paid homage to Ex PM Vajpayee

Uttarakhand government spokesperson and Cabinet Minister Madan Kaushik has expressed deep sorrow at the demise of ‘Bharat Ratna’ former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Terming his death as an irreparable loss, he prayed for the peace of the departed soul and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and lakhs of his well wishers.

He said that in the history of Indian politics, the personality of Late Vajpayee will remain that of a doyen.  He is known as an able politician, administrator, linguist, poet, journalist and writer. He practiced politics above party level and shunned the ideology of selfishness. He accepted every challenge and difficulty which came his way. By conducting nuclear tests made the entire world including the most powerful America aware of the strength of India.

Paying tribute to departed leaders Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj said that Vajpayee ji was a great personality and his loss is an irreparable loss to the country. The ideals he established in politics will guide the coming generations for centuries. He was fully committed to the formation of Uttarakhand and the people of Uttarakhand will always remain indebted to him. “ While, he had a soft and sensitive heart of poet, on the other hand as a politician, he did not deter from taking tough decisions. He kept the national security and sovereignty of the country above everything and established the country as a strong nuclear power on the world stage,” he said.

Finance Minister Prakash Pant said that “Bharat Ratna”, founder of  Bharatiya Jana Sangh, true son of ‘Bharat Mata’, RSS Pracharak, the one who made India a nuclear power nation, great poet, honourable former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s demise is extremely painful for the entire country. It is unfortunate for us not that Vajpayee is no longer among us. While paying rich tributes to Atal Ji, Finance Minister that his ideal life will remain inspirational for all of us.

Terming the demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as irreparable loss to the country, Agriculture Minister Subodh Uniyal said that apart from strengthening the economy of the country, Atal Ji brought significant improvements in the economy. Along with the National Highways, Atal Ji gave a new direction to the rural road network. Atal Ji was a leader of Indian politics and hero of the masses. Paying his rich tributes to Atal Ji, Agriculture Minister said that his demise is end of an era and high political ideals set by him will continue to inspire us.

Cabinet Minister Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, Yashpal Arya, Arvind Pandey, Minister of State Rekha Arya and Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat have also expressed deep condolence over the demise of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Paying tributes to Atal Ji, they termed his demise as irreparable loss to the country.
