BJP national vice president and Uttarakhand in-charge Shyam Jaju has categorically warned the opposition Congress not to indulge in dirty politics by allegedly disrupting the visits of its ministers and MLAs or be prepared for a retaliatory action.
You (Congress) should not take our silence for granted, we will not tolerate such actions, where they are putting hurdles in the way of our ministers and MLAs. We will not fail to respond.
Replying to question about the attack on its MLA and disruption of a meeting of a state minister, Jaju said that they should stop behaving like irresponsible opposition. He also urged them not to play dirty politics and instead introspect on why the party has lost in the state.
On the issue of announcing the name of the party candidate for the Tharali by-poll, Jaju said it would be done in a day or two. Meanwhile State BJP president Ajay Bhatt said that in BJP organisation is superior than the person. Although our people have started canvassing for the BJP in the bypoll.
Meanwhile Jaju also lambasted against the Congress for running away from the urban local bodies elections. They are using the courts to postpone the elections, it is clear they will fare badly in the urban local bodies elections. On our part, the government has done its bit to ensure the elections are held on time.
