Government official on demolition drive in Kasauli dies after being shot at in broad daylight

On Tuesday, the owner of a guest house shot three bullets on the administrative team which had gone on an anti-encroachment drive to 13 illegal hotels in Kasauli in Himachal Pradesh’s District Solan on Tuesday afternoon. Two bullets hit the female officer who died on the spot. While a PWD employee was injured.
He has been referred to PGI Chandigarh in serious condition. The teams of four and one nodal officers of police and administration reached for action in the presence of SDM.
