CMO seems under stress with Sec Pandian’s action

Secretary Transport D Senthil Pandian, who had unearthed the NH-74 scam and later chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat led BJP government had referred the case to CBI, has created a panic among the motorist especially who were carrying giant name plate to put pressure over the police and public.

Pandian received picture on his whatsapp number and he immediately instructed to their colleague to take immediate action against the violators. As per the central motor vehicle Act of India, no person can display name plate or other signage over their vehicle except number plate. Although it was being raised by the media for long but no officer took cognizance on it. With this decision he has created panic among the high profile motorist. If it would be implemented seriously then even chief minsiter and cabinet minsiter can’t display their name plate on their vehicle.

As we know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had banned the use of red beacon light on vehicle to bridge the gap between VIP and mass. To skirt it they had started giant name plate to put impression among police and public. Now question is being raised that will transport department take action agaisnt the violators including chief minister and his officials.

Even to put impression among the mass public representative or government machinery using private number plate over the taxi. As per the rule taxi would have number plate having written on yellow base adn private vehicle will use number plate in white in colour. Instead of following the rule they have been using white number plate over the taxi.
