Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav has been found guilty in the fourth case of the fodder scam. Today, a special CBI court in Ranchi, linked to the Dumka Treasury, convicted 19 accused including Lalu Prasad. Whereas 12 accused, including former Bihar chief minister Jagannath Mishra, have been acquitted.
Lalu Prasad Yadav was asked by the court to appear. But before the court reached Lalu’s court on Monday, the verdict was pronounced against him. However, his sentence has not yet been announced.
CBI counsel told that 12 people have been released in the Dumka case, while 19 accused including Lalu have been found guilty. However, the sentence has not yet been announced. They said that the court has said that on March 21, 22 and 23, there will be a debate on the sentence. The council said that every 6-6 convicts will be punished every day. It is believed that on March 22, Lalu Prasad’s sentence can be pronounced.
