Governor would make his speech at Gairsain

In a bid to fulfill one of the poll promises that BJP would make Gairsain as summer capital of Uttarakhand, Trivendra Singh Rawat led uttarakhand government has decided to convene this year’s budget session at Gairsain. Even governor would make his speech in newly constructed vidhan sabha at Gairsain. this would be first time in the state history that budget session and governor’s speech would happen other than the Dehradun’s vidhan sabha.

Although there is not official communication in this regard but sources have confirmed that budget session would happen in Gairain in between Feburary 21-28.

Earlier there was confusion that governor’s speech would happen in Dehradun vidhan sabha and budget would be presented at Gairsain. Although the file has gone to governor for his final approval. As this would be first full budget of the BJP led state government. As we know that Trivendra Singh Rawat led BJP government was constituted on March 18, 2017 so they could not present full budget and brought vote on account. Later government had presented the budget for the eight month and then they went to Gairsain to pass supplementary budget.
