CMO lodges FIR against Army

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat’s security was at stake at GTC Helipad on Sunday. Because of the resourcefulness of pilot of helicopter a big mishap was avoided. Chief Security Officer of Chief Minister has written a complaint at police station Cant Road in this regard. Copy of the report also has been sent to ADG (Prosecution and Security) for necessary action.

A report on behalf of Additional City Magistrate and CO City has also been sent to DM and SSP. Chief Minister took seriously this act of GOC Sub Area and expressed resentment in this regard. A Complaint of GOC will also be done with Ministry of Defence  in this context.

CM was to reach Sanwadi of Uttarakashi to meet the people affected from fire accident and distribute relief fund on Sunday, 18 February 2018. His helicopter was scheduled to land at temporary helipad of Jakhol in Uttarakashi. As Chief Minister’s helicopter was to take off from GTC helicopter in Cantt Dehradun.

According to Chief Security Officer of CM as fleet of CM reached at GTC Helipad around 12:15 pm, GOC Sub Area Dehradun in his personal vehicle HR26BF-8010 stopped the vehicle in front of fleet. CO City and SHO Cantt explained him that CM’s fleet was coming and way should have been cleared. GOC Sub Area started argument in this regard. GOC threatened the CO City and SHO Cantt and said that area was belonging to him and Chief Minister should be told that “You people can come here with our permission only. All the police personnel will be outside with their vehicles in future. Than CM’s vehicle was allowed to enter the helipad.

On the same day, when Chief Minister’s helicopter was landing on the H drew on the GTC helipad at 3 pm, some soldiers of army kept two drums on the H and interrupted the landing of helicopter. Drums were also not seen by the pilot from the height. When helicopter was landing on the ground, drums were seen by the pilot. Pilot immediately landed the helicopter at another place. Otherwise a big accident may have happened there. It is to be mentioned here that CM’s program is informed one day before to sub area with date and time whenever CM is scheduled to take off from the GTC helipad.
