Trivendra Singh Rawat led Uttarakhand Government has decided to go to the public with the achievements of last 10 months.
Under the plan, all Ministers have been directed to undertake comprehensive reviews of their departments and prepare a report card of their achievements in last ten months. The CM himself would discuss the list of achievements with individual ministers. This was told by the state cabinet minister and government spokesperson on Wednesday.
He said that the issue of the performance of the departments came up for discussion in the State cabinet on the day and it was decided that Ministers would prepare list of achievements of the departments under them. After discussions with the CM the ministers would present their performance card to the public, he said.
BJP led state government to present the performance card of its Ministers come in wake of media reports that the Central leadership of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not happy with the performance of some ministers.
Speculations are rife that the Government can reshuffle responsibilities of some ministers. The Government’s directive to the ministers to conduct review meetings of the department and present their performance card is being viewed as an attempt to silent its detractors.
