Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has inaugurated E-Rakatkosh, E-Aushidhi and ORS-Online Registration System at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Coronation Hospital, Dehradun on Saturday.
Congratulating the Health Department and NIC, CM Rawat said that today all the 35 blood banks of the state have been connected with E-raktkosh service, 52 hospitals with e-Aushidhi and 45 hospitals with online registration system in the State. Using the technology, the state’s health sector will achieve a new height. The functioning of the health department will be convenient and patients will be benefited through these initiatives.
It is noteworthy that the Online Registration System (ORS.Gov.in) has made easier to take appointment in government hospitals. With this system, based on Aadhaar number, patients can get online registration for related departments and date in 45 major hospitals of the state from any region of the state. Once registered, SMS will be sent to the patient’s mobile, which will be having the date and time of meeting the doctor. With the introduction of the Online Registration System, patients will not have to stand in long queues and it will save the time. Nearly 150 hospitals in the country are connected with Online Registration System in which 45 hospitals are located in Uttarakhand.
Through the e-raktkosh, the amount of blood units currently available in the eraktkosh, blood groups and blood components can be seen all the time from anywhere through the website eraktkosh.in and eraktkosh application app. Promoting voluntary blood donation, preventing blood wastage, maintaining blood quality, providing blood to the needy efficiently and effectively, is the purpose of eraktkosh.
E-Aushidhi, developed by C-DAC Noida will ensure continuous monitoring of the availability of medicines, information, expiry information, quality etc. by compiling the details of the medicines available in 52 hospitals of the state.
CM Rawat has asked the doctors to write generic medicines so that public and poor patients might get good treatment at the lower cost.
He also said that you can directly give suggestion to him directly. He does not believe in any formality In this regard, people from the health sector or the public can also give constructive suggestions directly to the Chief Minister. Good suggestions will be considered seriously. Improvement in the health sector should be concern and responsibility of everyone. The Chief Minister said that so far 90% of the doctors transferred in the hills have joined in their hospitals. If any health professional has any kind of problem, he can discuss with us.
State is going to take decisions about the district hospital of Dehradun. Dehradun will soon have its own district hospital. With the introduction of tele-medicine and tele-radiology in 35 hospitals of the state, the services of medical experts are also being provided in the remote areas of the state. Facilities like diagnostic, X-ray, ECG, CT scan, MRI, and mammography are being provided instantly through tele- radioogy.
He said that 156 dentists have been appointed to ensure the availability of health services in hilly areas. Selection process of 712 physicians / specialist practitioners is going on, process of appointment for 62 other doctors have been started. 16 specialist doctors have been appointed under the National Health Mission, which includes pediatric, gynecologist, psychiatrist etc. The selection process of 58 other specialist doctors is going on.
